We are so different to *my* experience of church. (Maybe not yours, but mine.)
Instead of crying out for God to move, instead we acknowledge He has moved on the cross, totally and fully, it is finished, and we as sons of God release that.
The problem in everyones life is their neither they nor anyone else is releasing what Jesus Christ did. There is a lot of waiting, crying out, believing, worshipping, titheing, all kinds of things. But we need what He did to be RELEASED so that His work on the cross IMPACTS people and actually CHANGES their lives.
I remember God once saying to me “dont beg”. Indeed. Just receive, release, proclaim, change the atmosphere by receiving what has been completed on the cross.
There is still lots of room for prayer that is in the style of relationship… talking to God. This type of prayer doesnt get replaced.
We are different. In fact Im now used to spending 7 hours together and having 1-2 hours of worship… it boggled my mind (when in church) we sang only 4 songs!!!? We were only just getting started!!!
God was present. I had massive electricity. The heat on me made me sweat. And they stopped. Aaaaargh.
